Where are ENJO products manufactured?

All ENJO products are manufactured by ENJO GmbH in Vorarlberg, Austria. We use raw materials from the region wherever possible. This means no cheap outsourcing with questionable production conditions and no compromise on quality.

That’s why we are so confident in our products!

How are the products manufactured?

Our products are manufactured with the same commitment to environmental responsibility as they are designed for use. No animal testing is carried out, and we do not use child labour. We also avoid unnecessary packaging materials during shipping. ENJO is committed to recycling, too. Used fibres are taken back and recycled. We continuously improve because we care about people and the environment.

What are ENJO products made of?

ENJOfibres are made from a blend of polyester, acrylic, polyamide, viscose and cotton fibres. This gives our products their multifunctional properties.

How long can ENJOfibres be used?

Our ENJOfibres last on average around 3 years. The colour indicator on the label helps you recognise when the fibres have reached the end of their service life. You can find more information in the following video with Hans Hirschmann, Hygiene representative of the federal hygienic department of Vorarlberg, Austria:

Is my home clean without chemical cleaners?

ENJO cleans mechanically (without chemical cleaners) and deep into the pores. This removes dirt and bacteria effectively from surfaces. We regularly carry out tests to measure cleaning performance. Why are synthetic materials used in our fibres?

Most of our fibre products are made from polyester, polyamide, polyacrylic and polypropylene. These plastics are by-products of the petroleum industry created during the production of petrol and diesel. If these by-products were not used to manufacture textile fibres, they would end up in landfill.

Wouldn’t it be better for the environment to use cotton instead of synthetic fibres?

Synthetic fibres are essential to achieve ENJO’s high cleaning performance. Although cotton has a better environmental footprint, it cannot deliver the cleaning performance required. However, where cotton offers specific advantages, such as in our Soft Fibre, we incorporate it into the fibre composition. We carefully select all materials to meet high quality and safety standards, and every fibre is 100% OEKO-TEX® certified.
